It is with great pride that the Pittsburgh Hornets are pleased to announce that former Pittsburgh Hornet defenseman Matt Celin, currently with the Bay State Breakers in the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) has committed to Holy Cross for September of 2007. Matt is the latest in a long, long line of players that have successfuly transitioned from the Pittsburgh Hornets to junior, collegiate and even professional hockey teams. Previously Matt played two seasons for the Pittsburgh Hornets AAA program under the direction of coach Joe Gaul and was selected to the Mid-Am Select 17’s in 2004 where he competed in the USA National Festival. Congratualtions Matt, you are a great kid, a wonderful player and we wish you the best of luck for a successful collegiate career.
