Pittsburgh Hornet goalie Ben Burns is fourth in the MWEHL with a 2.20 Goals Against Average.
Rob Madore is third in wins with four and eighth in shots faced with 101 on the young season.
Through games of December 4, 2005 the Pittsburgh Hornets are all over the list of leading scorers of the MWEHL. The MWEHL is considered the preeminent Midget AAA league and includes undefeated Team Illinois as well as highly regarded teams such as the Chicago Young Americans, Honeybaked, Belle Tire, Victory Honda.

In the NCAA games over the weekend,
Dylan Reese had an assist in a 4-3 Harvard loss to Yale;
Kris Mayotte came away with two more wins, including another shutout, as Union swept RIT 3-2 and 2-0. Mayotte had 37 saves in the two games;
John Zeiler had a pair of assists, as St. Lawrence defeated Massachusetts-Lowell 3-2 and lost to New Hampshire 4-3;
Denis Kirstein had a goal and an assist, as Mercyhurst swept Holy Cross 7-4 and 10-5;
In the EJHL, Nick Decroo had an assist over the weekend to give him 8 goals and 10 assists in 18 games despite missing training camp due to mononucleosis;
Dane Hetland continues to lead Baystate in scoring with 12 Goals and 12 assists in 21 games.
