Patrick Gaul of the Pittsburgh Hornets Commits to Notre Dame for 2008-2009 Season !
Hockey sources are reporting that Patrick Gaul of the Pittsburgh Hornets has committed to play his collegiate hockey with Notre Dame University! As most everyone in amateur hockey knows, Notre Dame has one of the top up and coming hockey programs in the country and are well on their way to becoming a national powerhouse in hockey. Additionally, Coach Jeff Jackson (winner of 2 NCAA championships with Lake Superior State and with proven top notch coaching experience with the NTDP, the Olympics and the NHL) along with outstanding Assistant Coaches Andy Slaggert and Paul Pooley, form one of the top hockey coaching staffs in North America as well.
Patrick has committed for the school year 2008-2009 and will further his considerable hockey skills as a member of the USA Hockey National Development Team next year as well before taking on the collegiate challenges at Notre Dame thereafter. Patrick represents the latest in a long list of Pittsburgh Hornet Hockey players from Western Pennsylvania that have develped their skill levels with our organization and have gone on to great hockey success at the junior, college and pro levels. Congratualtions Patrick on this tremendous achievement!
