FLASH ALERT - PITTSBURGH HORNET NICK DECROO SIGNS WITH BENTLEY !!

The Pittsburgh Hornets uncomparable success at developing amateur hockey players continues as another former Hornet has accepted a scholarship to play D-1 hockey at Bentley College. Nick DeCroo, a 6"3', 215 lb.left winger from Freeport, will play next season at Bentley. He’ll join Matt Schwartz, another former Pittsburgh Hornet player, who played his freshman season there this season. A great addition for the Bentley program. Alot of D-1 Coaches must not have been paying attention to this kid. He is going to be a great D-1 player with a great shot at a professional career. He is a steal!!!!

Being from the Detroit area, I,ve had the chance to see Nick Decroo play on a number of occasions. He is a goal-scoring machine whoose unselfish play makes his linemates better. The Bentley program has just taken a major step forward.

Detroit-guy, you just gave Nick Decroo the greatest compliment any player can ever get, that he makes his linemates better. That is exactly what legendary basketball coach John Wooden once told star center Bill Walton. Nick is a great player and even a nicer kid. This is an absolute steal for Bentley
