This Website/Blog is an historical archive of seasons 2006 and 2007 for the Pittsburgh Hornets AAA Midget Major Hockey Team. This team, and the Pittsburgh Hornets Hockey Association, is recognized as one of the top amateur hockey programs in the country. We have developed many players that have moved on to play in the NAHL, the USHL, Division 1 College and the National Hockey League.
Former Hornet, Dennis Urban had a goal and an assist in Thursday night action as Mahoning Valley tied the U.S. National Team with 11 seconds only to lose in the shootout. Former Hornet, C.J. Severyn added an assist for the National Team.
