Malone Paces Pens/ Umberger leads Phantoms

Former Hornet and current Pittsburgh Penguin, Ryan Malone, has 4 goals in 9 games, including a beauty against the Florida Panthers Tuesday. Malone is coming off a rookie season of 22 goals and 21 assists which placed him 4th in overall NHL rookie scoring.

R.J. Umberger has 3 goals and 5 assists through 6 games to lead the AHL Philadelphia Phantoms in scoring. After finishing with the Hornets, R.J. advanced to the USA National Team Developmental Program and then Ohio State.
