Pittsburgh Hornets Battle for Playoff Spot in Prestigious Le Tournoi de Midget Drummondville

After Pittsburgh Hornet Midget Major Team and Coaches Joe Gaul and Chris Stern were officially welcomed by the officials of the prestigious Le Tournoi de Midget Drummondville, the Hornets started the competition off with a roaring 6-3 victory over Trip Pen Frost of St. Johns, Newfoundland. The next game up in the box proved to be an exhilarating and emotionally draining one as the Hornets lost in a magnificent battle to the famous Cantonniers of Magog, Quebec 4-3 in overtime. Continuing the roller coaster ride, the Hornets then battled back in the next game to grab a 3-2 win over the Eagles of Burlington, Ontario as they continue to scrape and claw their way toward a playoff spot in the tournament. The Hornets will play McDonalds of Halifax tomorrow morning and with a bit of luck secure a spot in the final rounds of the tournament. Bonne Chance Hornets, Bonne Chance !!!
