Pittsburgh Hornets Dylan Reese named 111th Captain of Harvard Hockey

Harvard University has just announced today that former Pittsburgh Hornet Dylan Reese has just been named the 111th captain of the Harvard hockey team.

Reese will lead the 2006-07 Crimson in its quest for a fourth ECACHL title in six years and a sixth straight appearance in the NCAA tournament. A first-team All-Ivy League and second-team All-ECACHL selection as a junior, Reese earned a spot on the ECACHL Championship all-tournament team with five points and a +4 rating on the championship weekend. The Pittsburgh native led Harvard's defenseman with 19 points on four goals and 15 assists.

The Pittsburgh Hornets are so proud of Dylan, not only because of his hockey prowess, but because of the academic, character and leadership traits and abilities that have resulted in his selection as team captain. Dylan is a role model of what is right about college hockey, and we are so proud of him. Congratulations Dylan on this magnificent accomplishment !
